Merchants can use it to accept cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum or Dash instead of cash or credit card, but receive the amount paid out in Euros, just as they are used to. The system has proven itself in a test run lasting several months in selected A1 shops. This means in addition to debit and credit cards, there is now another simple and secure cashless payment alternative available that is oriented towards the needs of a digital generation.

Leaked images of the upcoming new Samsung Galaxy S10 suggest the smartphone could aid bitcoin adoption with a built-in cryptocurrency wallet!

The leaked images, first reported by Samsung news outlet SamMobile, appear to show the rumored Samsung Blockchain Keystore cryptocurrency wallet app running on the new Galaxy S10.

Ethereum, currently the world's second largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization after bitcoin and Ripple's XRP, is named as a supported cryptocurrency but a previous report from SamMobile last year claims the wallet will also support for bitcoin, ethereum-derived ERC20 tokens and bitcoin cash.......

You can now Pay your Taxes with bitcoin if you live in Ohio U.S.A

Starting today (26th November), businesses in Ohio will be able to pay their taxes using Bitcoin — making the state the first in the nation to accept cryptocurrency officially. Companies who want to take part in the program simply need to go to OhioCrypto.com and register to pay taxes in crypto. It could be anything from cigarette sales taxes to employee withholding taxes, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal, which first noted the initiative. The brain child of current Ohio state treasurer, Josh Mandel, the Bitcoin program is intended to be a signal of the state’s broader ambitions to remake itself in a more tech-friendly image. Major Car Dealerships and Airport Limos in Japan Begin Accepting Cryptocurrencies

A regulated cryptocurrency exchange in Japan has partnered with two companies to enable cryptocurrency payments for their businesses. Hinomaru Limousine has started accepting payments in cryptocurrencies for its airport taxi service while Carchs Holdings allows crypto payments at its used car dealerships. Airport Car Service by Hinomaru Bitpoint, one of Japan’s 16 regulated crypto exchanges, recently announced two business alliances to increase merchant cryptocurrency adoption in the country. On Tuesday, the exchange revealed a partnership with Tokyo-based Hinomaru Limousine to trial cryptocurrency payments for the company’s airport taxi service between Nov. 6 and Jan. 9. Established in 1981, Hinomaru operates a fleet of 362 limousines and 161 taxis, Bloomberg reported.
